Job Description:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the main purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the bookkeeping/accounting function using Xero or Quickbooks (to be decided).
The ideal candidate MUST:
You should be able to work with minimal supervision and take ownership and responsibility for the bookkeeping/accounting function.
The successful candidate will be required to help with our transition from Excel to Xero or Quickbooks Online, and will need to be able to assist in setting up the relevant systems and checks to ensure that everything runs smoothly on a monthly basis, once the new software is up and running. This work would therefore require additional hours to start with before things settle down.
